Trudno sobie wyobrazić wizytę w Gdańsku bez zrobienia zdjęcia przed Fontanną Neptuna. Obiekt ten znajduje się na Długim Targu przed Dworem Artusa. Długie są dzieje powstawania fontanny, gdyż z powodu wojen i rozbudowy Dworu Artusa opóźniało się dokończenie tego wspaniałego dzieła. Fontanna przetrwała II wojnę światową rozebrana na kawałki i ukryta w wielu miejscach. Poskładana na nowo na swoje właściwe miejsce trafiła dopiero w 1954 roku.
Z fontanną związana jest legenda powstania słynnej gdańskiej nalewki Goldwasser, ale o tym opowiem w trakcie zwiedzania….
